The position is for a Project Manager out of the San Francisco office.

Digital Project Manager

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of 4 years of project management experience in the interactive industry.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•    Ability to multi-task and process information efficiently
•    Solid track record of successfully delivering complex projects from start to completion

•    Ability to communicate clearly, delegate projects, and manage multiple projects at once
•    Proven experience developing interactive microsites, online campaigns, and websites from concept to delivery and ongoing maintenance
•    Strong computer and software skills: Microsoft Project, Excel and Word are a must, HTML and CMS experience a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate must be able to:
•    Gather requirements to develop detailed project plans and project estimations to the task level
•    Manage project scope including:
•    Management and documentation of project kick-off meetings (internal and external)
•    Development and management of project timeline
•    Monitoring and maintaining internal and external milestones
•    Change request management and documentation
•    Facilitation of project meetings both internal and external
•    Review of all project deliverables for quality and accuracy
•    Tracking of features and requirements design and development
•    Maintenance of project documentation
•    Communication of project status to internal and external stakeholders
•    Identification and communication of project risks and assumptions
•    Planning for user metrics data to be gathered
•    Monitor project pipeline and provide feedback on required assets and resources
•    Develop and constantly update region-wide Master Project Plan to assist in resource planning
•    Proactively identify upcoming conflicts and resource gaps at the project level

•    Maintain pool of competent freelancers/vendors to be used as resource needs dictate.
•    Work with SVP of Production and other key team members to develop/improve operational efficiencies of the firm including, but not limited to the following processes and procedures:
o    Estimating and Planning
o    Resource Management
o    Quality Assurance
o    Scope Management
o    Project Management

This is a key position in the Rich media group for FriendFinder Networks. The senior developer must know Actionscript 3.0 and understand Flash technology

You will develop key software related to video broadcasting and viewing, and for instant messaging rich media content applications. The work is all project based and allows for significant career growth. All apps are in use with hundreds of thousands of users so they are all critical and bleeding edge. The work is heavily video based, and involves heavy interaction with server side technologies like Adobe Media Server and Java Servers.

You will work in a small team with very knowledgeable Flash engineers that have significant experience with developing Flash apps. This is the position if you want your code to have maximum impact and to be used on heavily trafficked web sites. The work is fun and engaging. We are looking for someone who loves to code and works well with others. .

Here's what you need to be successful:

• MUST HAVE 4+ years experience of all requirements below.
• Must have expert knowledge of ActionScript 3.0 and Object Oriented Programming.
• Hands-on experience on Client-Server applications.
• Thorough experience with dynamic, interactive content in Flash 7 or later versions.
• Familiar with Flash Remoting Server, Flash Communication Server and Socket Server.
• Successful track record of compatibility, detection, and optimization techniques with Flash & Adobe products.
• Online game programming is a plus.
• Ability to interface well with Flash/Traditional Graphic Designers for look and feel and traditional Engineers for back-end logic/content conversion.
• A hungry design/development mind who wants to push the envelope with Flash technology.
• Samples of professional interactive Flash development - Internet accessible.
• Knowledge of Flex, Java, php, or Perl is a plus.
• Comfortable with adult content.
