Flash Game Developer

Are you an experienced Flash and ActionScript developer that can develop high quality code for new and existing AS projects both in game and on our website? Have you designed UI or interfaced with UI teams to deliver quality Flash games and or products? Can you check your work for quality while delivering on time code for multiple product releases?

What you bring to the role in your professional toolkit:

  • BS/CS or equivalent and a minimum of 3+ years building web application in ActionScript 2.0 and 3.0

  • Strong experience modifying existing Flash projects to fit into new architectures

  • Build OOP architectures for rich visuals and online and web applications

  • Able to produce your code into organized and reusable object-oriented structures

  • Previous experience with AS2 / AS3 frameworks and protocols to include inheritance, composition, encapsulation, polymorphism and others

  • Knowledge of common design patterns – MVC, singletons, command, factory

  • User Interface design and the ability to adhere to design aesthetics in the course of development

  • Experience with Ajax, JavaScript and JSON desired

  • Knowledge of Client/Server and back end technologies and database parameters as they meet the front end UI

  • Adobe CS4 experience a plus

Technical Games Producer

Are you a driven Technical Game Producer that can manage the development of Flash-based social games that include in-game micro transactions, asynchronous challenge functionality, and other player-to-player/game-to-server interaction? Have you had hands-on experience in the technical aspects of server based game development? Have you brought to market Action Script 3 or real-time MMO or multiplayer games? This is a technically focused project management and development role with creative opportunities for the right candidate.

  • Work with 3rd party developers and internal engineering staff to create and deliver high quality online social games

  • Define and create developer API functional requirements, use cases and data service requirements for social games

  • Hands-on experience in the definition and enhancement of SDKs for use in games

  • Proven experience facilitating and communicating requirements and technical concepts between clients and production teams and managing the relationships with 3rd party and/or off-shore game developers and engineering teams

Qualifications:  We are seeking an individual with experience and skills creating complex Rich Internet Applications using Adobe Flex and Air.  We require deep and intimate understanding of Flash Builder 4 (and/or Flex 3), ActionScript 3, FlexUnit 4, MXML and MVC frameworks. The position requires hands-on experience with charting and advanced data grids. In addition, understanding of information overlays, custom transitions, filters and drawing, and familiarity with Flash Catalyst and Degrafa is a plus. Because of the extensive integration with back-end services, implemented using Java, deep knowledge of HTTP Service, JSON and AMF are required, and a successful candidate will have a smattering of Java.

SDK Developer

Primary Responsibilities:

This position will expand and improve Tealeaf’s leading edge solutions for RIA replay including:

  • Collaborating with the Tealeaf engineering team to improve and develop tools and solutions related to RIA replay technology. (Tealeaf’s advanced web session replay software).

50% focus on UI Capture SDK development – Javascript, DOM, W3C.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Work with the innovative SocialVision product team to write custom components to enhance the social experience around video; to make things that have never been done on a video site before, happen. You'll help architect and write the client-side code and work with the team to figure out testing plans, backend integration, and chat/XMPP integration.
